Global distributors are moving beyond LABSA. Brenntag's Innovation & Application Center in Barcelona has developed and validated LABSA-alternative formulations for hand dishwashing, liquid laundry and hard surface cleaners, citing feedstock volatility as the driver (Brenntag, LinkedIn, 2026). Even those alternatives (e.g. AOS) are largely petrochemical — WP-50A offers a fully plant-based route.
